Sheila
Cannell Cullen was born to Tom and Phoebe
Cannell in Forest Grove, Oregon January 31,
1941. She married Peter M. Cullen June 10,
1967.
They have three children: Brendan Peter, November
15, 1969; Brigid Eileen, January 24, 1971;
Annemarie Cannell, November 28, 1975.

Sheila
graduated from Portland State University
in 1962 and taught for two years before
going to U. of Wyoming for her masters
degree. She met and married Peter
while teaching at Portland State in
1967.
Sheila writes: After our marriage
in 1967, we lived in Hillsboro, Oregon
for a year. Peter then went to work
for Merrill Lynch and was Operations
Manager for them in Omaha, where Brendan
was born in 1969, and southern California,
where Brigid and Annemarie were born.
In 1979 Peter took a job with the
Trust Dept. of First Interstate Bank
and we moved back to Portland, to
the home in which we are still residing
in 2003. I started teaching English
as a Second Language in Simi Valley,
CA (having taught science and French
previously) and in 1980 I took a job
as the ESL teacher for Lake Oswego
School District. A job I enjoyed for
twenty years until my retirement in
2000. |

| Brendan
graduated from U of O (Eugene) in 1991,
and from Stanford Law School in 1995.
He then took a position as clerk with
the Court of Appeals in Washington,
DC. The following year he was clerk
for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.In
1997 he moved to Los Angeles, CA and
began work for Sullivan and Cromwell
law firm.
On October 7, 2000 Brendan married Lynn Markowski in NYC. Their son Aidan was born in Los Angeles March 14, 2002. In 2004 Brendan was made a partner in his law firm and offered a new position as manager of litigation in the Palo Alto office, so they are now living in Palo Alto. >Back

| Brigid
attended OSU (Corvallis) and after spending
her junior year studying in France,
married Jeremy H. Smith, August 16,
1992. She graduated in 1993 from Menlo
College while Jeremy gained his PhD
from Stanford University. Bridgie gained
her teaching certificate from Santa
Clara University and taught elementary
school for two years in San Jose. In
1997 they moved back to the Portland
area for Jeremyıs job with NEC, they
bought a home in Beaverton and in February,
1998 became new parents! They now have
four children: Madeleine Cullen, February
2, 1998; Fiona Eileen, July 11, 1999;
Isaac Peter, March 15, 2001; Naomi Margaret,
March 13, 2003.
In 2003, Jeremy accepted a position with Xerox as a project manager in software design. >Back

| Annemarie
graduated from U of O (Eugene) in 1997.
She returned to the Portland area and
worked for a public relations firm before
returning to school at the University
of Portland to gain her teaching certificate
and Masters degree. She had a busy year
as she was also planning her marriage
to Craig Reger, July 29, 2000. She taught
two years before joining Craig in his
real estate business.
Liam Cullen Reger was born August 29, 2003. Annemarie and Craig moved into a big old Victorian house in NW Portland in late 2003. |
